Although we hope nothing will hinder you enjoying your beach vacation in the sun as planned, sometimes unexpected injuries, illnesses, or natural disasters can cause you to cancel or reschedule your trip. Life happens and some things are out of our control. What is in our control though is protecting ourselves as much as possible by purchasing travel insurance.
Travel insurance ensures you get reimbursed for a canceled trip, so long as your reason for canceling coincides with the insurance policy you purchased. Without insurance, you’ll unfortunately lose money on a last minute cancellation.
Here at Serendipity Seekers
We offer the option to add travel insurance to your booking. This is an agreement between you and the travel insurance company. We at Serendipity Sails do not have our own travel insurance plans but have conveniently connected you with a well respected insurance company.
That means when you make your booking, you can simply select the type of travel insurance you’d like to add on to your stay or, if you’d rather risk it, you can opt out of this offer.

You can learn more about their policies. When reserving your stay, you’ll have the option to choose between the “Standard Travel Insurance” or the “Cancel for Any Reason Insurance.” While they both offer the same base coverage, the “Cancel for Any Reason” policy is much more comprehensive.
You’ll be given the option to add on insurance at the time of your booking. If you didn’t add insurance then but would like to add it now, please contact us and we’ll get you set up if you’re still eligible. For both packages, you cannot add insurance within 30 days of your trip. You also only have 30 days after a booking to add the “Standard Travel Insurance” and 14 days to add the “Cancel for Any Reason Insurance.”
